Nuestras alfombras se tejen en telares manuales, utilizando las antiguas técnicas de los tejedores del interior de nuestro país.

Para cada alfombra, se prepara el telar con la urdimbre correspondiente al ancho y luego se teje vuelta por vuelta, siguiendo el diseño.

​

Los materiales que usamos son naturales: algodón reciclado o lana de oveja hilada a mano por hilanderas de una Cooperativa de Jujuy, Argentina.

 

El proceso del teñido de las fibras es también totalmente manual.

 

Es decir que al ser artesanal tanto el tejido como el teñido, CADA PIEZA ES UNICA.

 

Nuestras alfombras las diseñamos a pedido, teniendo en cuenta los colores del ambiente donde serán emplazadas.

El ancho del telar es de 2.00m, si se necesita una alfombra más ancha, se tejen dos iguales y se unen cociéndolas a mano, punto por punto.

El largo que podemos tejer no tiene límite.

Our rugs are woven in manual looms, using the same ancient techniques of Argentina’s provincial weavers.

​

We prepare the warp for each rug, in the correspondent width and then the weaver weaves lap by lap, following the design.

 

The materials we use are completely natural: recycled cotton or sheep wool, hand spun by a Women´s Cooperative from Jujuy, north of Argentina, border with Bolivia.

 

The fibers dying process is also completely manual.

 

This means that not only the weaving but the dying process are handmade, resulting in the uniqueness of each piece.

​

Our rugs are produced by order and when we design them we consider the colors of the space where they are going to be placed.

 

The width of our loom is 2.00m, but we can obtain wider rugs, weaving two identical ones and then joining them, by hand sewn.

​

The length of our rugs has no limit.
